Wish I had back when I was gigging!

I was a performance major and gigging drummer years ago and am just getting back into drumming after a 15 year hiatus. This is the first hardware I've bought in years and it's amazing. Super light weight, packs up small, but totally solid and wonderfully functional. Only complaint is that the snare stand doesn't get very high and could be an issue for tall folk/high sitters with shallow snares (I'm 6'2 and sit with thighs roughly parallel to floor). The hi-hat stand is the best part and while the base doesn't rotate it works perfect with my double pedal as the leg actually fits under under the pedal but above the baseplate and doesn't cause any issues with the kick pedal in use. Of course, this may not work for everyone depending on pedal/setup but it works beautifully with my Tama standard double pedal. Highly recommend this set.

Better Late than Never!

Just opened up the package and tested the stands out and I already KNOW my back's gonna thank me after this arduous summer of gigs… this set's a quarter the size of the coffin-like apparatus I'm using to lug my current hardware around and arguably 100 pounds lighter! I ordered two additional Tama flat stands and am confident they'll fit in the hardware bag along with what's come in the bundle. Thanks for the swift shipping as always, Sweetwater!

Worth every penny

I bought this pack to go with my Tama club Jam and the two go together like peanut butter and jelly I can load my gear and I mean all my gear in one trip, drums, cymbals, pedal and stands, one trip,,,,,,,, yes,,,,,,, I said,,, one trip. Mic drop.

Amazing!

I got this hardware set, along with the Classic bass pedal and tom stand, to go with my Barton Essential Maple 12/14/20 kit with sparkle lacquer. This hardware complements the kit perfectly, looks absolutely classy and timeless. It's super lightweight for gigging with the included bag. The hi-hat stand is super responsive and dynamic, and has helped me improve the subtlety of my jazz footwork. Same goes for the separate bass pedal. Smooth, light, a joy to play, and has a great understated look instead of the bulky, over-engineered mech-warrior look so common to drum hardware. Despite its lightness, everything feels sturdy and durable. It's also a good deal cheaper than the comparable "classic" hardware sets from DW and Ludwig. Another winner from Tama!

Great hardware pack!

Love this hardware. I got it to pair with my new Sonor AQ2 Safari kit because it is lightweight, compact, and has that vintage vibe I'm going for. (Not to mention, the price is right!)

The quality was a surprise. This hardware is really well built, totally up to the Tama standard, and very stable. The hi hat stand is one of the best I've ever used, the snare stand is stable and easy to get where I want it, and the cymbal stands are simple and stable. And the included bag has enough room for the Tama classic pedal too!

Really can't recommend this hardware pack enough. And the fact that all of it together weighs less than two of my old Pearl heavy duty stands just blows my mind. Five stars!
